Back Pain

This anxiety combined with GERD is driving me nuts. My back between my shoulder blades hurts so much and my heart has been checked and the doctor says it is fine (but of course I do not believe it with the anxiety...But then this will be like my 500th heart attack).

In the personal side, my dad was moved to a geriatric home (he has dementia) because my mom could not longer take care of him. He has been there for 4 weeks and the process has been exhausting. My mom is having a lot of medical tests because she got sick with the stress.

So just wanted to vent a little.. does anyone experience that pain between the shoulder blades?

I do try my best to keep going and not let this anxiety monster take over.

I have the same thing happen. When my back is hurting that way, my chest/breastbone is also really tender to the point that I can't even wear a bra because it's so uncomfortable. Usually after a few days of treating the gerd flare it goes away, but it always makes my anxiety super high because I worry about my heart even though it's been tested numerous times. Your post caught my eye because I've been dealing with it this week.

Thank so much for your reply. I am sorry you feel this way too but it is good to know I am not alone with this pain.

It's most likely muscle tension... Get a massage.. Maybe take your mom..
