im so tired of being lonley im 17 and it sucks i want someone who is there for me i wish there was away to be happy but there never is they say my meds will help but they never do

So sorry you are suffering. You can come here when your feeling lonely. I’ve found lots of support on here. I too feel lonely a lot. Are you in school?

Hi brasfieldj. I'm glad you found this support forum. We you feel alone, know that we are always here for each other. We share each others struggles as well as comfort and understand what you are going through. Meds can help but it's a matter of finding the right med and the right dosage. Therapy is all important while being on meds since there is no "miracle drug". Meds can change the chemistry of your brain that is causing the depression but it's you in the long run who will help that med work by working towards your goals in life. (This is where therapy comes in)

We are here to listen, without judgment. It's always nice to know that people care enough to support each other when one is down. You are never alone. We will be there for you.
