I’m going to a doctor next weekend and the suggested medicine is Lexapro and a small dose of Xanax whenever I’m actually having an attack. Has anyone had any bad effects with this medicine?

Thank you. Did the Xanax make you feel like a zombie at all?

Not at all, it does have a tendency to knock you out if you are sensitive to medicine but that will only be in the first few times. Please follow your doctor advice and only take it when really really required, so you don’t develop a habit or tolerance. The Lexapro is the one supposed to solve the problem; eradicating or lessening the panic attacks.

Ksturkey just curious if you started the Lexapro? My dr prescribed and I am afraid to start it.
