And a good morning from me!

Hi lovelies....a quiet night here and apart from being called 3 times from work it was relatively calm and peaceful. I found some chamomile tea last night and thought "why not" what harm can it do.....wow, following the first call from work I was a little wound up(I'm supposed to be off) I went looking for some Earl Grey and saw the chamomile first(just shows you how much tea i drink when I didn't know it was there!!). Oookaaay she says. Made it...popped a slice of lemon in it and sipped away. Oooooo it was very calming. Yes yes there is a point to this, stay with me, no no don't close your eyes just yet...im nearly finished lol. Try it if you can. I was quite surprised at just how much I relaxed after drinking it. I'm not fond of the taste I have to say, very similar to green tea I don't like that either but it works for bags under my eyes(yep only I could say that!!!). Once I'd got past the taste(lemon helped) it was really a wind me down drink. What has it come to when I, Janie gives advice about....TEA!!!! Oh well I guess there's worse things. Some of you may be turning in for the night or like me...ready for a new day. Either way I send you my best wishes and hugs to last the night. Always in my thoughts.

Yes chamomile is nice..I have mine with honey..also, cause I like it so much, I grow it..try it yourself..nothing like fresh chamomile from your garden..grows in summer, when the white petals fall of the flower that's when you pick the yellow part and then you dry it out for a couple of days and its ready to drink..lasts for months..

Ooo that's sounds lovely I shall go hunting for that thankyou. I'm not a tea drinker(why it's called a British thing I'll never know...1 colleague drinks and 2 ppl out of everyone I know) I've always had coffee but stopped when my palps were getting much much worse. The chamomile did work actually as does Earl Grey...i love that plus Raspberry tea. Hugs back at ya Xx

Hello, I am an old Brit, and not a "Tea Belly", never cared for tea unless it was real weak. Mother used to buy Camp Coffee for me. But the rest of the family are tea belly's. I drink decaf coffee or herb tea, cannot have caffeine gives me palpitations. I found some Chamomile with Honey & Vanilla recently (Twining's). Supposed to be good for anxiety.Better go, my cat wants to jump up here and will play with the icon?!!! Take good care, sending love & hugs. Sprinkle 1

Been drinking Lemsip for a few days rather than tea but I have had lemon and honey with warm water to soothe my throat. Blooming British colds doing the rounds and not just here by the looks of it. We had all of......ooooo 1/2 hour of snow a few days ago and then just like that...it had gone! But it's f f f frrreezing. I've had some lovely messages which have cheered me right up. I'm a right old misery when sick!!!. It helps me help lulu if that makes sense. Fortunately it rarely happens(me being sick) and with what's been thrown at us already this year...im hoping we've had our lot now!. Yes caffeine also gives me palps so I stay away..sneak in the odd one if it's weak. Im going to do my own this year now...with the help and advice I've had and got...even I won't be able to mess it up lol. Take care. J

Oh you would never mess any thing up! You're too good for that one! Yes we can all look forward to better days. Hang in there! hugs for you! XXX

Hello, sorry you got one of those crap English colds, the flu is doing the rounds here, and that frightens me. We have had some very cold weather and even some snow, I live in in S.C. I dread the idea of going out for grocery's, mosty cat food I need, other I would not go. I am looking for Spring. Keep warm Janieliza and enjoy your herb & lemon tea. WIshing you well soon. Janieliza, loved the tale about the chamomile tea,are you sure thats what calmed you, well you can sure telll a tale about tea and make it sound exciting, even enticing---I too have tried quite a few and the only thing I can say is oh/ughjust dont like them, though im hooked on herbal stress reliever that contain that magical herb Valerian-have you heard of it...they too have a ghastly taste and therefore you never chew!
