I know it can be a little scary starting a new medication. They each affect everyone a little differently. I think you should try it and see how it makes you feel. Don't feel discouraged if it's not the right one for you. It took me a few different drugs, dosages and time to figure out what was right for me.

Have you ever taken Xanax before? It's basically the same except it lasts longer. For me it makes my anxiety disappear, which is both good and bad. I keep a couple pills on me and in my car so I have them as an option, but I generally never take them. Just knowing I have them available is a relief. I would recommend cutting a pill in half or quartering it - I have the lowest dosage they make and a quarter goes a long way for me at least. Also make sure you don't drink alcohol with it since that amplifies the effects.

Fabulous drug. Just don't get hooked on it. Works within the hour. Even 1/2 pill works.

I used it for panic/anxiety attacks and airport travel.

It def helps with anxiety at first, and it can rly help you get through a rough patch in your life or stop a panic attack. But also if you use it too much or too carelessly it can make your anxiety worse in the long run

Yes it helps tremendously. It’s effects hit you quickly, within 20 minutes. I start with 1/4 and then one more 1/4 after a half hour if needed. It can be addictive.

Yes it helped me but it is only available for short term use.

Lorazepam works great. I use it as needed and put half a pill under my tongue for effects to kick in in about 15 minutes. I have emergency ones on me at all times.

I take it only as a last resort. .5 mg. It works really well for me. On a daily basis I take 10mg of Lexapro and the combo works well.

It should def calm you down.. it's what emerg will usually give if you go there having a panic attack. Acts very quickly. I feel drunk on it so be careful first few times... I only take it when I absolutely have to . It's very addictive. Some ppl pop them like candy. More you take it the less of effect would prob have.

Hi sweetie. For me it was a God sent and continues to be when I really need it. As I have read on here I too only need half a mg does and it helps immensely. I've never become addicted to it as I only use it when I am having a bad anxiety attack or are going through a difficult time. Best of luck to you.

I was prescribed this a few years ago. I have "anxiety about taking anxiety medication" I don't take a daily pill but I do have lorazepam as needed. It takes a lot for me to take one but when I finally do, I do feel better. I have 5 mg and break it in half.

.5 mgs so the lowest dose. If you have some, break one in half. I have my boyfriend sit with me just to keep me company 😀

Hi

I am always hesitant about taking medication but there is nothing to be afraid of . What are the milligrams??? Did your doctor tell you that you can start by taking half a pill. I keep those pills as as needed. They work for me, they calm me down. I don’t take them all the time though. I take Zoloft daily. I would rather not take anything. But if something is going to help I will give it a try

Good luck
