Does anybody else have heart palpitations due to anxiety ?

and does it usually happens before going to bed or even trying to relax ?

How do you handle with it?

Is heart palpitations harmful?

Do you need to take medication for it?

Does it cause irregular heart beats?

Any information will help.

Have a nice day.

I use to get that a lot like all the time. I’m now on medication for my anxiety and various other things but when that happens what to do you do? I like music it really helps a lot and focusing on the present and your breathing helps. And it can also be lack of nutrients you need. Do you drink enough water do you get enough protein.

What kind of medication do you take?

I usually stay calm and think of positive things or read a book or do something distracting. but its usually still there.

I'm a night owl now and naps don't even exist.

I used to drink dr.pepper a lot and water wasnt my first choice but now i drink a lot of water and hardly any sodas..

Hiya!

I’ve had anxiety related heart palpitations(racing heart, skipping etc)for years and years(I’m 31 now) I take propranolol for them and they are really good.

I still get them but so much less than I was(it used to be all day and night sometimes) when I do I practise my breathing and don’t pace about panicking which I always used to do too.

Your not alone!its very common with anxiety and it will get better x

my symptoms lately have been feeling nauseated,my heart fluttering (& etc) every night and morning...I try to do some oils before bed but it doesn't help. i do have medication to take as needed. but im thinking i do have heart palpitation on what i have been reading..

How does the propranolol make you feel?

How long have you had anxiety?

Do you think heart palpitations make the heart weak?

Thank you for replying

hope to hear back from you soon :)

Propran. was a life saver when I had migraine headaches. Have heard some good results from others who are taking it for anxiety.

Read that the heart palps won't hurt the heart. Really?

Anxiety showed up as a senior adult along with too many physical ailments to list.

The whole run of anxiety/panic/depression is definitely exhausting.

Yes I do have heart palpitations, I’m currently on day 10 without having any. At any given time they will return without reason. It’s very frustrating. They are not harmful I do take Beta Blockers but most of the time the meds only slow my heart not the palpitations. Cheers

Craftykat try taking vitamin B12.
