I've been taking citalopram for nearly two weeks now and I feel it's doing something tho my memory is terrible at the moment. I just can't remebr stuff (esp at work). Im finding myself asking questions all the time about stuff I probably knew likr a month or two ago. It's almost like my brains damaged. It's really hard sometimes...i just wanna curl up under my desk. Anyone else taking citalopram and having trouble with memory?

I tried Celexa (citalopram) a long time ago and it didn’t work out for me. It actually prevented me from reaching an orgasm. I switched to Effexor and it’s been a lifesaver. When I started feeling the effects of the medication, it was like a gray filter was removed, I saw color much more vividly, things started making more sense, I felt more confident and wanted to live. Maybe your doctor could switch your SSRI to something else.Good luck!
