I did it again.

Does it ever get easier? I feel like I’m going back and fourth with these emotions and low self-esteem. Less than a week ago I was feeling good and now I messed things up again with my relationship and myself. I love him but feel like I need to love myself more in order to stop doing this. Does anyone feel the same? Am I alone here? I went to a self-esteem support group today and I hope it helps. I think my problem is staying committed in what I say I am going to do. My mental health is so important to live a healthy life, and I keep repeating the same cycle. I hate it!

A support group is a good idea. Hang in there. You will have good days and bad.

You say YOU messed it up. Don’t be too quick to blame yourself. People with low self esteem do that. Step back and look at what happened and determine if you really were the problem or if you were reacting to the way you were being treated.
