Hello, My name is Andria and I'm 33 years old I've been married 8 years and have 2 boys.
I've been suffering with GAD and depression for about 10 years. I'm currently taking 20mg lexapro and it helps a lot. I do at times find myself feeling sad and lonely, I'm a very shy person and it takes a bit for me to warm up to people that's probably why I don't have any friends.

Hi Andria, I'm so sorry that you've been suffering severe symptoms lately. The pain of depression can really take a toll. Just try to remember that you're having symptoms - the feelings you're having are not based on your actual life.
All you have to do right now is breathe and stay alive. I'm so glad you reached out here to break out of some of the isolation and loneliness. If you're not seeing one, I really recommend a therapist and a support group to break out even more. You are definitely not alone, and with two boys you have so many great moments ahead of you. Lots to live for.
Just stay alive and keep breathing. People here care and I'll bet you can connect with many in person to help with feeling so alone. Also, you may also need a little tweak in your meds to help you feel a bit better.
