Sorry. I'm at my lowest right now. I'm losing hope of getting over with my anxiety and depression. I obediently taking my medication. I persevere with self-help: music, gardening, diet, reading, etc. but I'm still stuck with the ugliness and loneliness of my illness. If not for my 3 children, I just want to sleep and not wake up anymore. I am tired of struggling... what more can I do? Will I ever get better? Did anyone here got well? How?

I'm losing hope.
Sorry you are feeling like this with your PTSD. Have you contacted your psychiatrist about how you are feeling. I have PTSD and at times felt like you do now. Sometimes I think we try to do too many of the suggestions we are given and that overwhelms us and ends up counter productive. How long have you been diagnosed with PTSD and how long have you been taking your current medications? I'm here and will wait for your reply.
Thank you for your reply. I have anxiety and depression on and off for almost 15 years. This last relapse in February was the hardest. My last visit to my psychiatrist was 2 months ago. He tells me to ventilate and make adjustments which I constantly monitor myself to follow. But still...
So you have not contacted your doctor, who is a psychiatrist, in months and you are not on any medications, and for some reason this venue had a note that you had PTSD, when you are saying periodically over the years you have had bouts of anxiety and depression, not PTSD.And you still have children at home.
Is that all correct?
If you've been on the same medication since February and have not had any positive improvements, it might be a good idea to see if you can get switched onto something else, or see if an adjustment in the dosage might be an option. In the mean time, keep staying strong and realizing that you CAN get back to the person that you were back in January. If possible, try and see if there are support groups in the area where you live where you could go talk about your feelings. Best of luck!!
If you are on medication, but I got the impression you weren't, I agree with ElJerad91 that contacting your doctor now, and let him know you are not doing well. He may indeed adjust your meds.
But it sounds like your tired of all the routines and recommendation's and frustrated that you are still feeling the same. We do get that way sometimes, is there something you can do just for yourself today that you enjoy?
Perhaps you have some thoughts where she could locate support groups where she could ventilate and get support?
Oh wow, Mimillian you are located in Qatar?!? I've heard it's such a beautiful country, although it can get VERY hot during the summer time. As I'm not too familiar with the support group system internationally, it might be best to contact your psychiatrist or general practitioner to see if they might be able to provide you with some good references to check out for local options. If not, perhaps you can search online for more help. Here are few articles that I found that might be of use to you, although it depends on where you live:

Thank you all for taking the time to respond to my post. I am on medication (Valdoxan) and I'm comfortable with it because it's non-addictive and will not cause withdrawal symptoms. It's hard for me to deal with my anxiety and depression when it's worsened by the onset of menopause. It's really frustrating.
i am right alongside you, exactly the same. i have gotten better in the past, sometimes years of being fine, so i know its possible.
Oh, menopause! Now that can be a rough road all on its own. Not much you can do about that but pamper youself. I got mad at practially everyone in my small town during menopause! Doing muscle relaxation to music, meditating, anything to keep you calm and even can take the edge of that. As for the meds, it sounds like while they won't give you problems later, they're not doing anything for you now. I've had depression on and off for 40 years, sometimes taking meds and sometimes not. I've found that some will work for a while, then need the doseage changed or for me to be switched to something else altogether. I have completely withdrawn from some powerful meds, twice, and survived, though I will say it wasn't easy. However ... those meds releived some painful symptoms for a long time. Anyway, just know that you're not alone, either with menopause or with bouts of depression. Lots of people do understand and care.
Menopause😫 I know watchingvmy diet at this stage of life is crucial for my mental health!!! Hormones are incredible pre-cursors to neurotransmitters, and food can inform hormones......
What effects *your* body/hormone/neuro profile is unique to you,,but if you google foods that help or hinder estrogen, etc, you could get some great insight. I try to limit salt, sugar, alcohol, certain grains, chocolate, etc. I fast sometimes to let my body get rid of triggers.
I also try to avoid massive pollen and outdoor allergy hits, because that can cause me to spiral as well. Take some time and google "Histamine Intolerance" and Menopause. Hope it helps. It is a short season in our lives, we can DO IT💪🏻
Thanks everyone for your support. It means a lot.
You will feel better one day I promise... God willing we all will.
