I am new to the group, have always had panic attacks and depression, however for about the past six months have had really bad anxiety nearly 24-7 been to the ER twice.
Never have I experienced anything like it! My Doctor and Counselor think it may have something to do with loosing 8 people, friends and family in the past 8 months. It is ruining my life. I feel like I am turning into a hypochondriac, and I can not shut off the negative thoughts. I used to be really active and fun and now I struggle just to go to work. I want to be normal again

I totally understand what you're going through as far as your anxiety goes. My condolences about your friends and family. I know what it's like to be in pain and worried all the time.
I am there now too! I'm working on journaling when I'm feeling scared and remembering to breathe. I created a mantra that I say to myself when I'm in the midst of a panic attack and that seems to help somewhat. The other powerful thing I tell myself is that panic can't kill you it is only a TEMPORARY, albeit severe, discomfort.
