Medication

It's been about 6 hours since I took my first dose of my new medication (wellbutrin) and I'm feeling a little dizzy and nauseous. I was wondering if this is normal and if it will go away.

Yes, this can be normal and go away. It's just a matter of time right now. If it never goes away and only gets worse then it's time to think about not taking it. But you need to give it a fair trial. OK? How are you doing otherwise?

I'm going to give it a fair shot since I'm new to it. So far I'm doing ok. I actually don't feel like crying non stop. I'm just taking everything minute by minute right now and trying not to let the little things bug me like before.

Most Serotonin is made in the gut, not the head, so it makes sense the meds can disturb the gut for a while. I had issues-no big deal, but anxiety can call unnecessary attentionto it-for about a week. Hang in there!!!

I took Wellbutrin (Bupropion) also and it did make me feel a little "off" in the beginning. Check the side effects page of your prescription also if you are uncomfortable with how you are feeling. Wellbutrin is one of the cure all medications that is used for cigarette craving and relaxation and with that is the anxiety reduction. It should help you take the edge off of daily things that may amp up your anxiety. My anxiety escalated and I had to move on to a different set of meds :P Take care!

Look into Homeopathy. Leave those powerful drugs alone. I was once addicted to antidepressants. Never again! Homeopathy is my medicine.
