Hi, This is my first time joining an online support group. I was officially diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression in October (but have struggled with it all my life) and I am currently being treated by a psychiatrist. I take the antidepressant Exeffor (175mg p/day) and take Trazodone (100 mg) to help me sleep.
Last night I didn't get much sleep which always puts my anxiety off the charts the following day plus finals are coming up, so I'm a complete mess today....
I'm sorry that you didn't get the rest you need last night. What happened? Did you take the trazodone last night? Or did the night get away from you and you didn't take it? Please run that by your psych Dr. so he/she can evaluate your depression based on that knowledge. For me that would indicate that my depression was of the bipolar kind. But please remember that I am not a doctor, just a former medical professional making an educated guess from experience and learning from others, including family members.
