Anybody have borderline personality disorder?

Hey I've just been diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder but I feel more I have bipolar can people tell me how they felt with their diagnosis and what its like for you to be living with this condition I don't know if I'm just struggling to except it x

I have both - Bipolar and Borderline (and anxiety). It is truly awful and has made my life a living HELL. Sadly, I have no advice, but knowing we aren't alone is certainly comforting. Take care

Yes, I have borderline personality disorder as well as bipolar disorder. The two are different in that the "mood episodes" tend to last longer in bipolar disorder; "mood episodes" are of a shorter duration in borderline personality disorder.

However, the two disorders are often concurrent in many people. Add in an anxiety disorder, and yes, life can become quite challenging and difficult. With so many symptoms interacting, it can be difficult to get an accurate diagnosis as well as to find a treatment plan that will work.

It is important to work closely with your doctor and therapist, if you have one. If you have trouble with a medication, report it right away. When I was first diagnosed, I was seeing my psychiatrist weekly until we were able to stablelize my moods.
