I'm new here; wonderful to find an on-line support group. I am recently retired, but find anxiety still follows me into my newly retired life...lol...I am high-functioning GAD, but my body has paid the price with food and alcohol abuse...hence high blood pressure, and now heart disease. I am a religious person and will pray for everyone suffering from anxiety disorder. It runs in my family--both my grown sons deal with it as well. Best wishes to all in your day to day struggle with this issue.
