I've been dealing with anxiety and depression PTSD Bipolar and psycoaffective disorder for over 11 years now. It's a daily struggle. Taking ALL the meds, the psyc therapy sessions. I even tried suicide when this all started. Have been in the psyc ward more times than I can count. Unable to get a job due to my severity of my condition. And now I have more medical problems, I have been passing out for no reason since August 2015. Have been to practically every specialist in the state. None of them can really find anything wrong..... Now a doctor sent me for a sleep study, FAILED!!!! They dignosed me now with sleep apnea... which has nothing to do with the passing out. So now on top of all my other problems, I will have to wear this CPAP machine at night for the rest of my life, due to my oxygen saturation level being so low!!!! I get shot of breath fast and raily leave the house. I have a 3year old daughter that I can barely play with, so missing out on the best years of her life. This is just taking such an emotional toll and now a physical toll on me. I'm just wondering what will happen next!!!! I still get panic/anxiety attacks frequency. I had a passing out spell April 2016, tore my ACL completely, and ripped my calf muscle. Have to use a walker to get around now. Thanks for reading, And if anyone can come up with something like a easy hobby.. Please let me know.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having so many problems. I can't help you with the passing out problem except if you get a warning sign right before passing out. If you do, you must immediately stop and get in a secure position for unconsciousness. I had this problem for about 10 months and fortunately I got a small warning just prior to passing out. This seemed to happen at the same time I had an adrenal insufficiency although the endocrinologist didn't think the 2 problems were related.
Do you have an excellent psychiatrist? It sounds like you aren't on the most effective meds for you. Can they be adjusted? The sleep apnea and CPAP is no big deal to handle. I use the type of CPAP equipment that has no mask, but a simple cannula that runs under my nose with small pads in my nostrils. Easy to sleep with.
More importantly you have out-of-control anxiety and depression plus the passing out. Change psychiatrists if this one doesn't seem to have any answers. Or just get a 2nd opinion. Maybe your diagnoses aren't accurate or you need to try a new med. There are bipolar support sites and blogs where you may get more help. One is called bipolarsupport.org and it has some very experienced people to ask for help from. There are others, too. Just search for "bipolar support blogs". Unfortunately this site, Healthunlocked, has no bipolar community.
Hang in there and I wish you the best of outcomes.
