Need advice on clinical trial RO7656594

I have updated our profile, but in a nutshell we've gone through abiraterone, Xtandi, docetaxel, Pluvicto , cabazitaxel and carboplatin. My husband's most recent PSA on 4/12 was 79.52. His MO has put a hold on chemo our last 3 appointments due to pancytopenia. He's received 2 blood transfusions on his 2 previous appointments. There was a liver lesion recently discovered in January. We've had a consult with rad/onc for possible SBRT to liver pending a MRI and PET/CT. Waiting on insurance authorization for these scans.

We were referred to Dr. Gordon at Honor Health in Scottsdale and his clinical research team. We met with them yesterday and were presented with 2 different clinical trials. Both trials are phase 1 trials. the RO7656594 looks like it might be open to recruit next week. The other trial is KT-253, which is in it's investigational stage for patients with AML, ALL, lymphomas or solid tumors. They are wanting to add prostate cancer to this list of research studies. It sounds like there isn't a prostate cancer patient yet - at least at this facility. This may be open in 2-3 weeks.

I'm not able to find much on either of these, but just starting my quest. We have an appointment with our MO on Tuesday and want to have a little more knowledge and understanding. I did receive consent forms on each of the studies, just need more information in English. I'm nervous over any phase 1 study. If anyone can point me to any information, I would be so grateful.

Thank you!

Marie

Base on google search and reading about KT-253.

I think it is good trial : KT-253 is a highly potent and selective degrader that targets MDM2, the crucial regulator of the most common tumor suppressor, p53. p53 remains intact (wild type) in close to 50% of cancers

Good luck.

Thank you for your reply. We got a phone call today scheduling an appointment for Monday to sign consent forms and have labs drawn and begin the screening process for RO7656594. If we're accepted into this trial, I plan on posting updates as we go through it. I'm grateful for this opportunity and like Dr. Gordon and his team. There does seem to be several promising treatments in the near future.
