Styx and I ventured out on our own this morning for a walk through the leaf strewn streets to a friend for coffee. It felt a little strange after having hubby alongside for weeks, but something I had to do. The warm sunshine on my back & the cool breeze on my cheeks made me realise how close we are to the clock change. I love Autumn 🍂
This evening the 3 of us inspired by SueAppleRun ’s moon photo yesterday headed down to the beach & had a wonderful walk along the prom catching the last bit of the sun. The spray patterns were incredible as was the rapidly changing sky. Our lighthouse stood out really well with her new coat of paint glistening in the last bit of sunshine. No sign of Mr Moon due to low cloud on the horizon… we will wait for his appearance through our skylight in a wee while.
Two short but equally lovely pursuits adds up in my equation to a day well spent.
