Letter R for run, (old) railway line, runners, rabbits, rushing river, red (berries), rest, Rope Flow (moving with a skipping rope but not jumping), reflection and a π π
Two weeks since I last had a run/walk. Beautiful day today, feeling much better (antibiotics helping I am sure) so decided to have a little run. 20 mins brisk warm up walk to my usual route down the old railway line. 5 min run then 90 sec walk repeated 5 times. Saw quite a few runners, walkers and cyclists all enjoying the sunshine. Out and back route (just over 4km) then stretches and a 20 mins cool down walk back home. Great to be having a little jog again ππ
When I got home I had another Rope Flow practise (thank you for inspiring meΒ CBDB ) I reflected that it is important to learn new things, especially as we get older. I also thought about the old saying βDonβt run before you can walkβ In the case of Rope Flow that means mastering the basics before trying more complex moves and getting in a big tangle π
I hope you all enjoyed your walks today ππ
PS Top left photo Squiggy is looking for rabbits! Path was like a river so I turned around at that point.
