A walk on rest day?

The rain stopped, the sun came out. The man upstairs was going to have a rest day from walking, he overdid it somewhat yesterday.I was just contemplating housework or actually get out for a run!! As I feel fine. When he text to say was I ok to go for a short walk along the seafront? Might as well I thought, got to be better than sitting here contemplating.

It was but not hugely better. 15 minutes into the wind which is much lighter than recently, 15 minutes back to the car. I think I will be πŸ’¨ Ng before long as it's fine to walk but I'm a bit restless.

I'd left my phone in the car so no photos today, the sea was far out with little white capped waves almost as far as I could see.

Started to rain as we got in the car, got harder and harder as we got near home, there was A bright rainbow across the road, if I'd been on my own I'd have stopped to take a photo but didn't, so imagine the beauty.

Have a fun day and smile.

I've done busy house stuff, sorted invoices for my tax return, returned stuff to John Lewis - oh, and run 4k. Good, smiley day so far!

That all sounds great, very productive. I'm itching to get running again, my cough is almost gone, but it's lashing down again here now. I don't like rain, not today I don't.

Good walk for you today Sue, you were lucky that the rain went off just in time for your walk and came back on when you were in your car going home, that's what we call jammy, just missing rain or snow whenever anyone is outside walking, running or cycling.

Brilliant that you have another neighbour up for health challenges. A bit of company for him as he gets going will be invaluable.

Hope you get a weather break to permit a good run today , rather than contemplating cleaning , which can probably wait!

I've actually just realised it's eaten into my run time, which has always been morning, I'm going to have to gently steer him back to afternoon walk or it doesn't work for me. I'm hoping now he's started he'll carry on, the last neighbour didn't, maybe this one will embrace it more. Luckily I've run out of neighbours to encourage 😁 and can get back to what I promised myself and that was consistent running. Walking will be good after my eye op for a time though
