It's been a frustrating day, waiting for a parcel that was going to be delivered, then wasn't going to arrive until Tuesday, and then turned up!!!So my walk was late.
I went rushing out the door, forgetting my hat, so once I'd turned the corner the sun was in my eyes and I couldn't see much. I decided 5 minutes along the leafy lane and 5 minutes back again but after 5 minutes I realised I was closer to the sea than home and I couldn't resist. I passed a passion flower which wasn't out the other day when I last walked this way so took a photo for my alphabet walk.
Then I got lost again on the way home so my 10 minute walk turned into a 36 minute walk, 2.74kilometres π.
Happy walking challengers π

Girl after my own heartπI had a passion flower plant once, I it was very small and I had it on a cane to encourage it up a trellis. My husband, who normally never does anything in the garden beyond mowing and hedge shearing, decided to "help" me and dug out the "weed". I've no idea what he thought the cane was there for π€¦π»
ππ Exotic looking flowers! I love the fruit!! In fact we had some sprinkled over a sweet papaya earlier! Delicious combination. Love that your walks are getting faster.. mine are still slower than my usual but at least they are regular and the distance is increasing.
Mine are very much slower than they used to be but faster than recently, it's going to be a while before I cover 5k in an hour, but it's good to be able to get out there and walk. It's a good challenge that gets us out most days isn't it? Ideal for us who are coming back from not being able to do much
Have you got Google map on your mobile phone, use your mobile data when out and about! Put your destination in when you are leaving and then before going home put your home destination in again!
Upsedaisy π the best thing is if you do got lost not to panic but ask people if you see them best direction to get back home SueAppleRun π Well, I did run in circles a bit to find a bank near a shopping centre! And silly me, after walking and searching for 45 minutes with Google maps I finally found it! It does happen to the best of us ππππ€£π€£π€£π₯°
