Today I was headed for the whole alphabet....but as it's Sunday ...

C for church won.When I moved here I had loads of plans to explore, I envisaged myself running along trails beside the Norfolk Broads and we all know what happened then, a lot of the summer passed by a skylight above my hospital bed!

Anyway, this walking challenge with the alphabet add on has inspired me to get out every day and walk .

I'd wanted to explore Burgh Castle, which is a Roman fort, near a lake, with views across the flat land towards a windmill. Surrounded by trees and fields. You begin to see my dilemma with the alphabet.

I passed some wide steps down to a boardwalk that runs alongside the water and decide without a rail to hold I may not get safely down let alone back up again. So carry on, snapping photos as I go and having a lovely time. It's chillier, a breeze means my eyes are streaming too but it's great to be out and walking on grass tracks for a change .

A couple of kilometres and just before I get back to the car park I pass a church.. ... So yup! Today's letter is C 😁

I wanted to go there, when I was house hunting there was a little cottage with a massive garden near there that I'm glad I didn't get, it's miles from anywhere. I really do need a day with a 10 minute walk though as my legs are beginning to feel it
