Evening walk

My evening walk was tonight as so stifling through the day. Mr D and I went through the village passed the horses as you will see and down along the riverside where a lot of sheep , no cows on this path. It was so still , never met a soul as probably just after 6pm and people having tea. plenty of midges as near the river . Went passed the chain bridge and saw some of the youngsters having a swim in water . Did 4.57 km and over 6000:steps , that helps me over 10000 for today. Back to water plants , just watering can . Don’t know why Mr D walks as far as pain where top of thigh meets hip at back of leg. He is stubborn, thinking walking helps. More hot weather to come I believe.

Very brave to walk 10,000 steps in this very warm weather Doris8, well done, another great set of photos from you, those horses must be roasting in the heat and all those midges as well, sorry about Mr D, I just hope the pain goes away, the weather forecast for the next few weeks is that the warm weather is to continue, so get back by 10am on any of your walks or runs to avoid the heat of later in the day..
