Weather was cloudy this morning and not yet too warm. Decided to do my second comeback run. Ran a slow 2K in just below 20 minutes, Jeffing it at 1min30 / 0min30.
In the afternoon I walked to one of the 2 nearby towns for some groceries. Came back with the groceries and a big plant, huffing and puffing. Did some gardening after diner too.
All together I did (till now) 16830 steps and am exhausted now. But need to go to the other nearby town tomorrow morning for some shopping and I fear I will be near to death when I come home tomorrow.
Taking some flat rest tomorrow afternoon and on Monday which will be very much needed. I obviously am not a young pupper anymore (says the 41 year old)...
Well done on your run and your steps. A lot of steps. Can’t you go to nearby town by car tomorrow? Instead of walking. If not take it easy afterwards. It can’t be easy having rheumatoid arthritis, it must make you tired as well. You do well. Think we all try to to do things like we were a 20 year old and we forget our age. Here is me 66. Enjoy your rest.
Thanks! I go with my mom to town tomorrow to go fit some clothes. We only have my dad's car here at the coast and neither me nor my mom can drive it (bigger than ours and never before drove it). And we prefer not to leave the cats alone in the chalet in this heat, so my dad has to stay with them. But definately taking rest afterwards.
And yeah I do fear my RA might have to do something with the tiredness. I do have RA since 2012 / 2013 and was able to do those walks in the years between then and now. But it is of course impossible to say how the RA evolves. So it might be worse now despite not having pain.
Buying a bunch of yarn tomorrow for crochet, so will be able to keep my hands busy when resting 😉
Not really 😂 lots of walk8ng from shop to shop today. Have at this moment 14300 steps and that is without a run (yesterday was with a run). Slept 1,5 hours I think after lunch to recuperate and I look just as tired asbefore the start of my holiday 🙀.
But tomorrow is a full rest day with only crochet happening (and following one of my 2 cats while she walks in the garden on a leash). Tuesday back to town for food and Wednesday again a rest day ending with a BBQ (we don't BBQ often like twice in 3 years or so 😹).
