I thought that I better go back to the beginning of the alphabet today….so A is for Art & Adventure.
Two walks today. Short morning one with hubby to local park then later on in the afternoon just me and Squiggy. It is Arts Week here with various venues dotted around the villages and towns showcasing all types of art from carving in wood and stone, jewellery, painting and fabric work to name a few. So I drove to a nearby village with the intention of visiting one of the venues. Parked up and then a little stroll - an adventure because we investigated tracks and paths completely new to us. Squiggy, as you can imagine, was very excited and nose down pulled me along! At one point he spotted his favourite 🐿️ and pulled even harder! 😂 The wooded track led round and back to the village - so not really much of an adventure but fun nevertheless 😀
I enjoyed looking at the different artwork by several artists then drove on to another nearby village where more interesting work was displayed in the church rooms. Beautiful stone carvings, mixed media, wonderful print making - all so different and amazing.
