I just thought I would introduce myself to you all. I was diagnosed with Lupus last year May 2019. I have been on steroids for a while now, as a result, I have put on weight. I wanted to do C25K and but I was too scared to do it. I have had problems with legs as a result of Lupus. I feel running may be too much for my body. I think walking for the meantime will be better so I can ease myself into running.

I am not comfortable with the weight I am. I want to do something about. I thought I should share my story and not only help myself and encourage others on their journey.

I have made a promise to myself to start walking tomorrow and soon I would be running in the next few months.

I would love to read other people's journeys as well. :)

Me too! I want to transition to C25K, but I have pain in my legs, so I feel walking will be easier for now. I'm hoping with longer and longer walks my legs will strengthen and pain will ease, and I'll begin to run again🤞. Here's to the start of our journey!
