Welcome, and well done getting started... the health benefits are independent of the actual numbers on the screen, sometimes I run for an hour and the app still doesn’t credit me with 30 minutes brisk, so it’s only ever a guide... you know what you did.

Did the app show any walking minutes? If it showed nothing at all, remove and reinstall the app as you may have denied it permissions that it needs... I’m not on Android so I can’t help further than this suggestion at this time.

I have the same problem, on a Huawei phone (Android). Whereas I appreciate the benefit lies is actually walking, the purpose of the app is to encourage us to continue. If the app doesn't work it won't have that effect!

Thanks all for replying. Yes I agree for me I need the incentive if seeing how much I've done !! I've worked out that the way to make it work on a Huawei is to go to settings and give permission for this app to run or take battery saving function off this app.

Maybe try the MapMyWalk app... if that works better it will allow you to see your pace and you could soon work out your regular, stroll and brisk walk paces.
