It is a little bit cooler in London today. I am going to have a little walk to the gym later. I had such a hard time keeping up with everything last week, what with the weather and a really busy week at work, hopefully this week it will all feel a bit easier.
How are you all doing?

Hi, cooler here up north too today thank goodness. I dont cope well with the hot weather but even surprised myself at still fitting in my 30,000 a day step target last week. I work in school so on my summer break which means I can get in even more walking . Today a walk along the canal a bit muddy after the heavy rain we had yesterday .
That is an impressive step count. Well done. Rfc x
I have done my best in the heat. I had interviews last week Monday, Tuesday and Friday and Tuesday I thought I was going to melt as it was so hot but did my planned exercise and interview anyway and Friday I was crying and angry as I was fed up and frustrated with job hunting and decided I would go to the interview then anyway as at least at 9 it's out of the way then for the rest of the day was my thinking.
Today I decided on a break from job hunting as I decided it's not getting upset and stressed out over, cancelled Thursday's interview so someone else can have a go if they want to and will try again when I am ready again.
I said to my mate and sister in law how job hunting isn't the be all and end all of life and she agreed!
Saturday I did 3 miles in the afternoon of walking and yesterday I did 9 miles of walking in spite of being on my period as well which doesn't exactly help matters does it?

Good luck on the job hunt sometimes its soul destroying but something is out there and will turn up probably when you least expect it . Well done on the exercise in the heat we have recently had .

Yes more than likely something will but I feel a break from its the right thing for me at this time and I will try again when I feel ready again.
I am a firm believer things happen for a reason and maybe just the simple act of cancelling that interview will bring something completely different to your doorstep. Good luck with it all. Rfc x
Yes I think that as well when I look back on things and think yes it's right they happen for a reason and how last weeks interviews I didn't get were no loss and laughed about it although I was disappointed at the time.
I have had episodes when I have just become really angry over the stupidest of things lately and I feel that's to do with stress as on Thursday night I had wanted a good nights sleep and had gone to bed early and was woken by a noisy neighbour and I had got out of bed, gone to the sitting room and had slammed the sitting room door hard in sheer frustration!
It wasn't all to do with that that had just been the last straw and then I set off for the interview Friday morning after all the tears and hysterics and on purpose at 6.50am had rung their doorbell just to piss them off and had run away like kids do just to teach them a lesson!
I can laugh about it now and realise that stress makes anyone bad tempered so decided on a break for a while from job hunting. I think the interview on Thursday that I cancelled was no great loss anyway!
