I'm a glutton for punishment!

Oh my word I've joined ollio and think I'm dead! Lol! I bussed into town today, but got off at the stop before mine on the way back, so I could walk a bit further. Haai, but the hills in this village are steep! I pass the school and I'm so glad the kids are still on holiday cos my language was not the best!?! But you know what? I'm going to do that walk again tomorrow! By Christmas I aim to do it without having oxygen debt. ;)

Whooh hooh! Little changes, big results! I love the way sharing ideas on here makes us rethink our old habits. 👍

Ha. Bold plans Kay. Hard going but you made it. Sometimes those 'power words' really help you along.

Oh yeah, runswithdogs! Let me tell you, it was a real effort to get out and do that dastardly hill again today! I'm going to have a day off tomorrow. I have a doctor's appointment early and then I'm meeting a friend - by car!?! And then it's the weekend, so I may not do it again till Monday - I'll see how sore I am and then decide! Hope you're doing well and still going from strength to strength!

You are doing so well Kay. You know what I also think the summer has taken a toll out of us all. I am nowhere near where I was was pre summer in the way I felt on my fitness levels. I am Thinking we should do a challenge on here or something, to help us all get back to it. Let’s get our hinking caps on, what do you think? Take care of you. Rfc x.

Did you come up with a

challenge by any chance? I need something ‘concrete’ to aim for...my get up and go seems to have got up and gone 🙄I keep intending to do stuff on but always seem to find a reason not to...x

Hi RoddersFan! I'm basically lazy, so my personal challenges are always short-term! Looking too far into the future gives me the heebees! I started by aiming to get out every day for 10 minutes, building up to 3 times a day with the addition of a longer walk twice a week. That was about a year ago, and I'm still there! I'm comfortable with that and my body can cope with it, so for me it's all good!

I'll have a think Rfc - haha, at the moment my biggest challenge is getting out of bed in the morning! ;)
