I thought we could try something a little different with the Let's walk this week. We have done two 12 weeks sessions and it is great that peoplel sign up but I think we might benefit from a weekly sign up for our virtual club as I think it is easy to loose focus once we have signed up but if we commit on a weekly basis (or monthly) it might be of more benifit to ourselves.
So I will be the first to put my name down.

I walk most days and have been for 6 months averaging about 12k steps a day. Sometimes its more, sometimes less. I don't try and get too hung up on it as it's not an obsession but a change in lifestyle I enjoy and wish to continue with. I eat more healthily than I did, which helps immensely. If I don't my body and mind tell me about it. In that time I have lost 33lb and lost 6" off my waist. Feel much healthier and have more energy and desire to be active with the kids 🌞
Your welcome Kay50. The support offered to me on this site was invaluable and helped me when it was tough. I had problems with my shoulder first which I signed up to the stretch and flex blog. This moved onto the walking and then weight loss blogs. All have been great sources of inspiration.
That's one of the real benefits for me. We live at the top of a hill and have to walk up it everytime I go out on foot. When I started out in March I would have to stop halfway up to catch my breath. Now I am able to walk up it without getting out of breath and carry my 4 year old boy on my shoulders after a long day at school when he's tired. A total transformation for me 🌞
Welcome onboard, your name has been added. It is great that your nearly back to full hours again. I know what you mean about fitting everything in as we find our Normalities again. I'm having to wiggle my time around like crazy to fit everything in. 😀.
