Ok so here goes, firstly apologies is it doesnt make sense. So im a full time carer to my youngest who has asd, i myself have asd, adhd, depression, panic attacks. Iv tryed so hard to seek help and support from my doctor, mental health worker, social prescriber, citizen advice, ect and i dont seem to get any where, for the last 30 years (im 44 now) iv been bringing up my children as a single parent and with a couple of my children having additional needs iv not worked, iv had no help or support from family and i have no friends not even 1, so my question is how / where can i make or meet new people / friends in the community so i dont feel so lonely?

Feeling alone
You meet nice people here. Post Questions and if needs be PM anybody you want to. Some will be nice and others, just want to be by themselves. Then you can stick to the nice ones. Success!
I feel for you, its really hard meeting new people and making friends as an adult.
For me work used to be how I did this, but now my work has gone mainly remote it's much harder.
How would you like to meet people if you could? And it what sort of situations?
Hi Emmajsne1977, I know how you’re feeling right now. I’ve got FND, depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia, and PTSD. I’m not getting support from my family and I have no friends. Maybe you and I can help each other through these conditions we have. I feel like we all could use support, instead of feeling like it’s us against the world.
I’m from Texas. I’m in the same boat your in. I need all the friends and encouragement I can get.
myautismteam.com is support group just google and join
thank you Venus I'm going to Google it now
hi don`t stop seeking support up here we have local groups who help with kids suffering autism and the likes and have helped us in the past.surely the school must know of places that can help you ever have a word with the head teacher.
