Sore toe pinkish/,purple

I had some trauma to my toe I hit it against something it was a month or so ago and I got a brusie under the nail .. I've now noticed that only that toe is a pinky/,purple colour .the colder I am the darker it gets . The bruise is still there but not so big but it has now trying to part from my nail if that makes sense. Almost like I need to cut it away but it is too low in my nail bed. I do suffer from cold feet and winter it is worse. Is there anything I can do over counter or just leave it be ?

leave it alone the bruised toenail will most likely grow out and you can trim it them
