Trying for baby but no periods

Can anyone help? I have been on the pill for almost 20 years... came off it to start trying for a baby... I've had 2 periods in 8 months. I have a history of polycystic ovaries but I'm taking metformin (2 a day for about 2 months now). Any ideas how to boost ovulation??

Have you had thyroid levels checked?

Yes, all tests have come back fine. I do have adrenal fatigue as well though

Can you post your thyroid results and ranges? Women planning conception need a lower TSH than the normal range used to diagnose hypothyroidism.

Not sure if this is the right thing or not... thyroid function test: serum TSH level (xaELV) 1.34 mU/L [0.35-5.5]

Serum free t4 level (xaERr) 16.0 pmol/L [10.0- 19.8]

Also on my letter my specialist says FSH 5, LH 9.2, testosterone 1.6 thyroid functions normal.

Hi, this is going to sound pretty gross, but I was told this from a friend who had ivf and this worked for me, you know sometimes when you wipe yourself and it can be a bit like clear slime, this is the best time to have sex to conceive, it has worked twice for me, good luck! Xx
