Letrozole the drug of choice to reduce oestrogen has many generics that cause many different side effects in people. I now take Femera the original drug which while expensive compared to the generics, for me, have few if any for me. I have always had my mammo so when I got the recall I was speechless- especially when after the biopsy the surgeon said “Your cancer”!! I have access for 5 years to the breast unit in my local hospital and they have been good but it is frighteningly common- the waiting room always has 10-15 people waiting for either first or follow up appts! DO NOT MISS YOUR MAMMOGRAMS!!
