So I’m a carrier of a balanced translocation between one of my X chromosomes and one of my 7s chromosomes which could results in my baby either having too much or too little genetic information and it would most likely result in either a miscarriage or a possibility that my baby having both significant developmental and health problems Does anyone know if this can bring on early menopause I have all the sytmpoms of it and I have also done several menopause tests in which they have tested my FSH levels and they are all positive I’m just desperate to find someone who may have something similar

If your Specialists can’t answer the question for you..it’s likely that there hasn’t been enough research done on the subject.

Although there are links if you google ‘premature menopause balanced translocation’.

You might find a Genetic Councellor helpful..it’s possible someone else may have had your diagnosis 🤔

Genetic counselling

If you have been diagnosed with a genetic condition that is thought to cause/caused your premature menopause, it may be helpful to speak to a genetic counsellor. Genetic counsellors are health professionals qualified in both counselling and genetics. As well as providing emotional support, they can help you to understand the condition, what causes it, how it is inherited (if it is), and what a diagnosis means for your health and for your family. Genetic counsellors are trained to provide information and support that is sensitive to your family circumstances, culture and beliefs.
