Im on my fertile week so my partner and I decided to use condoms during intercourse. The whole time he wasn’t able to penetrate because it was painful for me, he was able to insert it but only briefly. He also finished outside far from my vagina. I’m overthinking because it’s my fertile week and I’m planning to take trust pills as emergency pills, taking 4 pills in one dose then another 4 pills in the next 12 hours. Will I be safe?

It does sound as if you are over thinking it. If he wore a condom and didn't ejactulate in or near your vagina then any risk of pregnancy is vanishingly small.

There are two reasons you found it painful. Either you were too tense because you were anxious about getting pregnant or you are allergic to the latex in condoms. I suspect probably the former.

I have no idea what trust pills are so I can't advise about those but you maybe need to explore other options regarding contraception. There are non-hormonal options that are effective.

Have a look at your contraception options. The idea of just not having sex at your fertile times is great but not always reliable as life can throw your cycle off.If you don't want hormonal based there's non-hormonal that are effective and safe. If you are UK based there will be sexual health and family planning clinics that will give excellent advice if you don't want to speak to your gp.

Rather than be anxious you need to take control.
