I've been getting dreadful night sweats, almost every night for the past week, but I've had them sporadically over the past few years. I am waking up totally drenched with sweat and shivering about 2am. The sweat is literally running off me.
I'm having to wash, change my pajamas's and the bedding before getting back in and then I go back to sleep and wake up as normal totally fine.
I've not got any issues with sleeping, I don't feel hot and my duvet is still the summer one with a thin fleece over the top which more often than not gets chucked on the floor.
My diet hasn't changed recently that I can think would cause it either - has anyone else got experience of this and have any tips on coping with it?
I'm running out of bedding?!!

Hi moorfit, I think this is one that you need to speak to your doctor about. Sometimes hormones do this to you (pregnancy and menopause come to mind) but it kinda needs your doctor to do a few tests, to get to the bottom of it.
Hi, not sure what stage of life you are in but I'm menopausal and had the same issues with night sweats. I did some research and now take sage tablets. I take one tablet early evening and the sweats have al but gone. If you're not menopausal the probably best to talk to the doctor. Hope you get some relief soon.
