Why is my blood pressure rising in the evening after taking 10mg of lercanidipine in the morning

This may related to the dose...speak to your doctor for advice.

I agree. When you ring say you don't think the treatment is working and you need an urgent appt. You have to do that these days to get seen

hi ren15. I’ve only just come across this post since I started on Lercanadipine 3 days ago.

Like you, my BP reading is fine in the morning, but goes up for the early evening reading and on the first day of taking the Lercanadipine my BP dropped pretty low and my BPM was increasing by the second: up to 112!

I chatted to the nurse later that day & she said it was perfectly fine🤔. Since then it has reverted back to a normal pulse rate.

Did you challenge your doctor about it and, if so, what was the outcome? I’d be very interested to know.

Hope by now you’re more stabilised with everything.
