I had a mirena coil put in last September as I’ve got fibroids. All has been ok no bleeding for the last 6 months. Had a routine smear test yesterday and the nurse couldn’t see the strings so I now have to go for a scan. Anyone else has this problem ?

When mine left my body i started bleeding a lot and i felt the mind fog left.. so i clearly felt it. Did you feel the strings before, maybe they were always short.. i also tried it for fibroids. So good that is helping you!
Hello. Thanks for the reply. No bleeding but last year I did and found the coil was out of place so had another one fitted. Unsure about the strings as never could feel them no matter how hard I tried.
