Hi, Im scheduled for a hymenectomy/hymenotomy to remove my septate hymen in a couple of weeks. Its a day surgery on the NHS done under general anaesthetic. I was wondering if anyone had had a similar experience and had any light to spread on what it will be like. Particularly i was wondering will i need to be intubated or catheterised for such a short (30 mins) surgery?
