Hi, I’m Robin in Dothan, Al. I was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer in April of 2018. I’m currently taking Ibrance and Femora. Also take a monthly xgeva shot to strengthen my bones, as the breast cancer I had 14 years ago Metastisized into my bones. I Want to see how I can keep it from getting in my organs.

Metastatic Breast Cancer
I'm really sorry to hear of your condition
First of all, I think it's really important that you recognise that no one here is qualified, and any advice we give should not be followed in place of the advice given by your doctor's. Any dietary interventions work best when followed alongside conventional treatments.
Please also be wary of any institutions that try to sell you anything!
There is a lot of information out there from people who claim to have controlled their cancer through diet. Some do credit a vegan diet, although I would point out that vegan's do suffer from cancer, so I don't think this is the whole answer.
The common theme I notice, is that people who report controlling their cancer with diet, follow a very nutrient dense diet. Juicing is a great suggestion, as it packs a great nutrient punch. Increasing the number and variety of vegetables you consume, will also help. Meditation is meant to be helpful, I don't think it would do any harm to try it.
I wish you every success in your road to healing
Welcome and I wish you well in your treatment! Love, Marianne
My comments weren't directed at you, so I'm sorry if you interpreted them that way!
I have said much the same thing to quite a few people who have asked for tips on controlling their cancer with diet on the site recently - when people do this, they can often be open to institutions that do try to exploit them (such as the Robert O'Young ranch), and I like to be sure people won't be exploited.
While it is possible to improve cancer with diet and lifestyle, the evidence out there shows people have greater success when they combine diet with conventional treatment (including a 20% increase in survival rates for Prostate Cancer).
No problem it is a very touchy subject! Re-reading my post, I can see where you might have felt things were directed at you, but my mentioning veganism came from a discussion about veganism and cancer on another part of the site the other day, and your comment only prompted me about that one.
