I am 53 years old and been on HRT for past month. This has made me feel much better and the night sweats have improved but I want to eat everything in sight. I have always been a healthy eater and maintained a good weight but over the past 2 weeks I am always hungry and wanting to eat all the wrongs foods, sweets, chocolate, crisp. I have noticed the weight is creeping on. Has anyone else experienced anything like this or does anyone have any advice. Thanks

May be the estrogen. Make a big green salad and put nuts in it or dried cranberries, croutons, veggies and chicken sausage and your favorite dressing. This always fills me up. Make a big plate of cut-up veggies and go nuts. Fiber cereal will fill you up too. Make sure you are hydrated because thirst can disguise itself as hunger. I’ve got the same problem. By the way, BHRT is much safer and more easily recognized by the body than hrt. I’d steer you toward it. Best of luck to you!!
