Bleeding in menopause

I had something very similar a few years ago, the first check I had was a biopsy for pre-cancerous cells in the uterus, and a scan to determine the thickness of the uterine wall, although the test results were clear, because the lining of the uterus was very thick I had a surgical procedure to remove the lining as this could be a precursor for uterine cancer. The condition I had was called Endometrial Hyperplasia, if you want to know more details there are lots of articles on Google
Can i ask how thick the wall of your womb was.
I have just had second biopsy as bleeding started up again and I am post menopausal.
Hi, I really don't know how thick it was, the consultant only said that it was thicker than usual, and needed to be removed, but soon after I had the biopsy I had a telephone call to have an urgent ultra sound scan, and was admitted for treatment within 2 weeks. Previous to this I had episodes of post menopausal bleeding for about 4 months before I saw a GP. I was only told that I was high risk to develop cancer of the uterus.
Hope all goes well for you, sarah
