Hello ladies, I have extreme exhaustion before after and during bleeding and wondered whether as well as the horrible pain whether or not the tiredness goes away after having this operation? It seems to be all related to the bleeding but not sure

p.s. I've had 6 operations for endo and 1 for fibroids, am 38, hope you can help xx

Hi curlywurly44

I really feel for you.

I had fibroids - my uterus was apparently the same size as if I was 5 months pregnant!! I had really awful periods and felt drained after them and the build up to them was horrid. I had a hysterectomy in my mid 40's and it was the best thing I've done! I am not sentimental about my uterus and I had no intentions of having more children so it was a not a difficult decision for me though I opted to keep my ovaries as I was relatively young for a menopause. Hope you get it sorted soon.
