Hi ..I have been taking premique low dose for six months but still get quite a lot of breakthrough bleeding which is annoying.. Does anybody else's suffer from this? ... However it has helped relieve the symptoms of night flushes.

Hi Sandra 😊

Missed pills can cause breakthrough bleeding, and as you already know bleeding and spotting can occur for the first months.

But, if it continues for some time on therapy, the cause should be investigated.

see medicines.org.uk

The leaflet accompanying a Premique pack also advises consulting a doctor if the bleeding or spotting continues after the first few months.

This is potent medication, for peace of mind see your doctor 😊xB

Thank you... I have been on it for 5 months and I would say half the month has spotting.. I will give it till the six month mark and return to my doctor if no change.
