Hrt patch

Hi all. My gp prescribed hrt patches on friday, but so far im not having much luck with them as they wrinkle up within hours of putting them on. Can anyone tell me if they still work when wrinkled, and the best way to put them on to prevent wrinkling.

Thanks

That's interesting. I had the same patches, applied to the outside of my thigh but they never came close to coming off until it was time to remove them. I assume you're not applying body lotion or other goo first?

Im seeing my practice nurse today about another health issue, and as today is my change patch day, im gonna ask her to change it for me and see where i may be going wrong. So yours never wrinkled hose?

No, it didn't. Well, it wrinkled when my skin did but straightened out afterwards.

The only other thing I could think of is to exfoliate so that the patch is sticking to fresh skin, rather than dead skin cells.

Mine wrinkles so there is (best way to describe) a 'tunnel' from edge to edge of patch not in contact with skin. Even pressing it back down, the tunnel remains.

Sounds more like an application issue, then.
