Not sure if this forum will help me get the "Switch"

I really need to loose weight but can't get into it.I lost over a stone for health reasons a year ago but have put half a stone on over this winter.I know how to do it I just can't get the switch!

Been looking at things via your link.I am member of a couple of other HU forums and I am very supportive but the compulsory rules for the weigh in section re supporting others does put me off.Dont need badges etc.Are they compulsory?

No, they're not compulsory, though lots of people like them. The thing about the weigh in is that it's designed for being mutually supportive, rather than just being a list of weights (which anyone can do in their own diary), that's why we ask people to be interactive, and it's also a good way of getting to know people. Same with all our regular posts: you'll see there'a a lot of chat, to and fro

The more I look at this forum I don't think it is for me.A bit too much like a slimming club .I know so many slimmers love this and really admire all the admin & hard work.Also all the members that contribute so much.I will probably get more involved in my nutracheck support group

Yer I was like that but in February I thought all that hard work I did in 2023 i'm letting my self down..so I got of my bum and slowly got my steps in and the weight started to come off again..you can do this 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Thanks the activity is not a problem particularly as the bowling season has just started.Gp nurses class me as active for my age.Mainly the snacking or the I have blown it ,start again tomorrow.

Hi kkatz there is something about the winter , and weather and drear that does not make us want to pull ourselves up and think about us! Stay with us, read some posts, reply to some, and see how you feel. I could fill the page telling you how this is soo the right place !
