If you can't find something just shout
I am 63 . I do quite intense workouts so Zumba then I have bought a step so half an hour on that and my legs are like jelly- now building up to stepping using hand held weights / dumbbells . Amazing for you that you are finding your way around knee pain . Shedding the weight is amazing too for your knees . Mine were achy and I felt totally unfit . Light walking with gradual build up will make such a difference. I would get advice about exercise and get good teacher if you do something like yoga or Pilates as the posture side of things is hard without an expert . Swimming - if you can get out is good for knees but don’t overdo things .Socially as you shed weight comes confidence . Chatting whilst walking and you underestimate the distance you have walked so maybe join a walking group that do short health walks . The library is a good source for information as some groups have hidden social media for members only .All the best to you . The new person is evolving.
Thank you! I am getting over my fear of going outside and walking. Scared to fall. I have bad anxiety.I walk now 3 days a week. I feel so much better
You are a wonderful brave person . Anxiety is such a battle . 3 days a week is amazing .
I am doing something called Escape Pain online which is a fitness/ exercise programme for people with arthritis. I also walk in my local park.
