Got to loose the weight
You seem happier . Great you are combining exercise .Improving weather and walking is great .A group where you can chat as you walk was something I underestimated. I just don’t stay and have coffee afterwards . I bring water or a bottle with fruit tea in it . Well done for your determination and staying power.
I would put on weight if I even saw a French fry . I have to keep to fresh unprocessed foods . I eat a jacket potato once a week but not with butter . I lace with salad and cottage cheese
It can be confusing about which way to go do you go low calories or low fat for example if I have a vegetable stir-fry and that's naturally low in fat and low in calories whereas if I a cheeseburger that is high in calories and high in fat it seems to be like the only way of being healthy, perhaps seek to be a tlvegetarian then you are forced to eat vegetables
You also have to think about your social activity the thing is if you if you cook food from scratch then you know what's in it if it's a t a takeaway then you don't know what you really eating
Yes I agree my coach says I should rather than just cardio use resistance weights, at my age with help with things like osteoporosis or with the menopause lower bone density
Can you send links to how PCOS and Alzheimer's are caused by jacket potatoes 😀
Thanks so much for this . Food is so complex and I can't pretend to know much except that the unprocessed fresh food is making my weight stable and my hair/skin better . I like your snippet about overeating too .
I am really interested in what you are saying but still can't get my head around what then you would say would be beneficial food wise r typical days menus .
Could you kindly give a few meal ideas ? I apologise if I come across as a bit daft but I am actually looking at whole meal suggestions which would help me.
You may see the weight drop and I feel that is what coaches like to see as they see that as a result and I suppose I would . I was encouraged by an instructor in my early 60's to get a plastic step .I was actually bought one as a present and merrily started plodding on and off it with some gusto . Just told now by my Zumba teacher to watch what I am doing as stepping on and off for 20-30 mins isn't actually great for my knees . Am I going to have this great slim figure - hmm - then end up with bad knees . I am as confused as you Bluelady so I am doing what I can stick to .
Yes the health and fitness advice seems to change and you are right, for a while I did hit exercises high interval and I found my joint started to ache purely because of the amount of intensiveness jumping around.I now prefer walking
