Hello weightnever and welcome to the weight loss forum. Please have a good read of the Pinned Post “Welcome Newbies”.

healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

You don't mention which,if any, plan you are following to lose weight or if you need support.

This is a Weight Loss Support forum with peer to peer support. If you need advice/support I suggest you share your experiences.

This is a very large community with lots going on. May I suggest you use the webpage as opposed to the app at least until you know your way around. Take your time and follow every thread so that you know exactly what’s going on.

Here’s the link for a “Tour” of the forum ,if you haven’t already taken it.

The Daily Diary and the Weekly Weigh ins are very good places to begin. You will find the DD and WI in the Pinned Posts

I find the Daily Diary a very good place to share my plans and get inspiration from other members, too. Once the day’s food is written down I’m far more likely to stay on track.

The key to success is participation, we are all on the same journey.

If you can’t find something just shout, there’s usually someone around.

I hope to “see” you around, Good Luck.🍀😉

Hi there!Do you mean that how you feel about your weight impacts your relationships?

I've been overweight and slim and now I'm about where my body seems to be happy. Not super skinny, but not looking haggard and old.

I used to put a brave face on things when I was at my biggest over 20 years ago, but i wasn't happy. My husband was super, so I'm lucky there.

My turning point was turning 41. Life hadn't begun at 40 like they tell you, i was still fat.

I had a slice of chocolate cake for my birthday and joined a slimming club the next day. I lost 100lbs in 13 months. Fast forward 20 years and a fair bit had gone back on. I was so upset with myself, but I was eating healthy things etc. etc.

Turns out fruit is my nemesis. Since I discovered low carb, healthy fat I've lost about 60 lbs and kept it off for over 6 months.

Having a bad day - come here and let us know.

Want advice on food - come here and ask!

Take care

x

I think I'll have to join the maintainers! At the moment I see to swing through a 5 lb band.

Things have been a bit calmer on the health front at least!

Whey Hey a Maintainer ! That's AWESOME ! You could still come to Wobblers to sort that 5lb out?

So very pleased to hear things are better on the health front, that's BRILLIANT news! :-) x
